Frampton to make first defense in hometown

Junior featherweight titlist Carl Frampton's first defense will come against mandatory challenger Chris Avalos on Feb. 28 at the Odyssey Arena in Frampton's hometown of Belfast, Northern Ireland, Barry McGuigan announced.
